2021, ethical fashion and brand commitment

In 2021, consumer empowerment and brand commitment

The Covid pandemic and its restrictions have disrupted the fashion industry by reinventing the relationship of consumers to brands and the commitments of brands to their consumers. At 17H10, we are happy to be part of a movement that is committed to a more sustainable consumption, offering feminine and eco-responsible clothing to all working girls looking for a stylish and timeless wardrobe.

A more responsible consumer...

For brands, this new reality is an opportunity to return to their raison d'être, to the values they defend. On a global level, the BCF (British Fashion Council) and the CFDA (Council of Fashion Designers of America), in a joint letter, presented the need to rethink the entire fashion industry, with the injunction to produce more responsibly, more sustainably, ignoring quantity in favor of quality.the challenge lies in translating these values into commitment, in a context where the consumer confined and then in telecommuting is in search of sincerity, authentic content and commitment The rise of the "remote", with telecommuting and online sales, has pushed brands to rethink their relationship with their community, by adapting their way of communicating and respecting their commitments to consumers.

The Covid crisis, by inciting us to look at ourselves, our values and our priorities, questions us as consumers. Faced with a world that has been frozen for almost a year, it is time to take stock. The pandemic has accelerated a process that has already been underway for several years; the empowerment of the consumer. Today's consumer is more demanding, more attentive to the quality of the offer, which must coincide with new standards.

In the world of fashion, this translates into a craze for ethics, for eco-responsibility, for a return to know-how and local production. This growing trend could have as its mantra "Consume less but better".

...For more committed brands
