Can you introduce yourself in a few words?

My name is Amanda, I am 29 years old and I come from the Paris area. I went to business school in Rouen and then I went to Brussels for 2 years to work in the sales department of a large railway company. Then, I came back to Paris to work in smaller structures. I joined a first Parisian start-up in real estate and now I'm in a food-tech start-up that makes connected 0-waste fridges.

What is ambition for you?

For me, ambition is having goals, knowing them and giving yourself the means to reach them. I am inspired by those people who give themselves the means to reach their goals day after day.

Is there a woman who symbolizes ambition for you?

I would say the Queen Beyoncé who represents a lot of ambition for me! She started from nothing and today, she is above everyone. She gave herself the means, she worked hard. I think of her when people talk to me about ambition.

Do you believe in the power of clothes?

I believe in the power of clothes. For me, it's dress for impress! If you feel good in your clothes, if you feel comfortable, you can knock out anything.

What clothing gives you confidence?

I think directly of a beautiful blazer well cut with small epaulets, which makes you a beautiful silhouette. It makes you look good and it makes a difference no matter what you wear underneath.
